Changelog

What's new in 1.7

  • Songs as you type. Piano, Kalimba and Music box now play a real tune. Every key plays the next note of Happy Birthday, Twinkle Twinkle or Ode to Joy, at the pace you type. Stop for a moment and the song starts over.
  • Three new sounds. Music box plucks tiny steel notes, Laser fires a quick pew, and Wooden blocks knock like little blocks on a desk.
  • Piano. Every key plays a piano note, so your typing turns into a melody. Letting go of a key stops the note, like lifting your finger off a real piano.
  • Silver ticks like a watch. I rebuilt Silver around the Pocket watch sound. Its tiny metallic tick and tock now take turns with every key you press, and it plays more quietly.
  • Glass is now an original. It sounds like tapping a touchscreen, not a switch, so I moved it out of the switch list. It sounds exactly the same, and if you picked it, it stays picked.
  • Update checks work again. In an earlier version, Check for updates failed and update notices never showed. If the app hasn't offered you this update, download it once from this page, and updates will work from inside the app after that.
